| heal.abstract | Το πρόβλημα της άμβλωσης αποτελεί σημείο σύγκρουσης και διαπληκτισμού ήδη από την αρχαιότητα, γεγονός που αποδεικνύεται από ιστορικές μαρτυρίες. Το ζήτημα αυτό αποτελεί αντικείμενο της κοινωνιολογίας, της θρησκείας, των ιατρικών επιστημών και της νομοθεσίας. Σήμερα η αντιπαράθεση εντείνεται, καθώς οι αμβλώσεις, στην ελληνική πραγματικότητα τουλάχιστον, αποτελούν καθημερινότητα, ενώ ενισχύεται ο αντίλογος για αυτές. Μέσα σε αυτήν την πολύπλοκη κατάσταση ο άνθρωπος ως μέλος της κοινωνίας, είτε γυναίκα, είτε άνδρας, σύζυγος, μητέρα, πατέρας, αδερφή, αδερφός, φίλος, φίλη, καλείται να διαμορφώσει μια άποψη όσο το δυνατόν πιο ευσυνείδητα, ώστε να αντιμετωπίζει την περίπτωση της τεχνητής διακοπής κύησης με τον απαιτούμενο σεβασμό προς τον στον εαυτό του και τους συνανθρώπους του. Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζονται τα θέματα που σχετίζονται με την διακοπή της κύησης και το πώς αυτή κρίνεται από την κοινωνία. Αρχικά μελετώνται οι μέθοδοι που ακολουθούνται, η υπάρχουσα νομοθεσία και η σημαντικότητά της, τα επιδημιολογικά στοιχεία, οι λόγοι που οδηγούν στην έκτρωση και η διαδικασία της λήψης αυτής της απόφασης. Επίσης, γίνεται λόγος για τις στάσεις του γενικού πληθυσμού και του επιστημονικού κόσμου και στις απόψεις που την θεωρούν ηθικά ή μη αποδεκτή. Τέλος, συμπεραίνεται ότι κρίνεται απαραίτητη η θέσπιση συμβουλευτικών υπηρεσιών, καθώς μπορούν να υπάρχουν αρνητικές συνέπειες για την ψυχική υγεία των γυναικών που έχουν υποβληθεί σε έκτρωση. The problem of abortion constitutes a point of conflict from the antiquity, and that is proved by historical testimonies. The issue of abortion is a subject that concerns sociology, religion and the medical sciences and legislation. Today the juxtaposition is intensified, as the abortions, in the Greek reality at least, constitute everyday routine, while is strengthened the report for them. In this complicated situation the person as a member of society, either a woman, a man, husband or wife, mother, father, brother, or friend, is called to shape an opinion as much as possible more conscientiously, so that it faces the case of artificial interruption of gestation with the required respect to himself and to the society. In the present paper the subjects that are examined are related to the interruption of gestation and how this is judged by the society. Initially we study the methods that are followed, the existing legislation and its importance, the epidemiologic elements, the reasons that lead to the abortion and the process of this decision. Moreover, we examine the attitudes of general population and medical personnel. Emphasis is given in the opinions that consider the abortion not morally acceptable, as church does. In addition we present the opposite side of the issue and the criteria that drive in this decision (of abortion) as the autonomy, the faculty of conscience and the attribute of person are. Finally, the conclusion is that the establishment of advisory services is proved essential as it is a fact that negative consequences for the mental health of women frequently exist when they are submitted in abortion. | el |
